The questions below will lead you through the process of identifying what you still need to complete to graduate, and how long this will take you.

| Part 2 Planning
|
Before you choose classes for the current semester, it is helpful to plan out how many semesters it will take you to complete the remaining requirements for your degree. You are advised to distribute courses for your major, minor and general education requirements fairly evenly across your remaining semesters. In order to plan this, you need to identify these requirements, and the number of semesters you will need to complete your degree.
Use your Degree Audit (DARS) answer the questions in Part 2.

| Part 3 The big picture |
Now we suggest that you plot out the types of courses you will take in each remaining semester. For each category – major, minor, general education, elective – distribute the number of courses you will need to take evenly across the number of semesters you will be here. Be sure to map out the number of semesters that you identified in number 3 (minimum number of semester you need to complete) above.

| Part 4 First Semester Courses

Focusing on what you have planned to take in your first semester, please review the courses that are available and open for the semester, using the Schedule of Classes Search online. Identify several choices that will allow you to follow your plan. List these classes below. See "How to Register" for instructions on using the Schedule of Classes search.
Be sure to check course descriptions that include important information about course prerequisites.

Are there other credits which should be transferring in that are not showing on your Transfer Evaluation? Be sure to consider AP scores, CLEP exams, etc.

List any plans or ideas that you may have for further education or careers after you earn your bachelor’s degree (Examples: Law school, Medical school, finance, etc.)

Please use this area to note any other information that you want your advisor to know about you. This might include scheduling constraints, long range plans, or academic concerns.

| Upon submission, your Plan will be routed to your Academic Advisor. That Advisor will review your Plan and contact you with comments, suggestions, and/or questions. Once your Advisor believes that you have a realistic, workable Plan, you will be sent an AVN (Advisement Verification Number) which will allow you to access the online registration system.
