Research Group

The decIsion Making for Ambient INtelligence Environments (IMAgINE) Lab at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is conducting cutting–edge research in machine learning and statistical signal processing with a particular focus on decision making under uncertainty. We are particularly interested in devising optimal/near–optimal information gathering and processing strategies to automatically make good decisions under constraints. We gain our inspiration from a variety of interdisciplinary and innovative applications including but not limited to smart cities, safer online communities, and cyber-physical-human-systems.
