Media Advisory: Jazz Percussionist Jack DeJohnette Talks Beat at UAlbany

What:
The University at Albany department of music is sponsoring a panel discussion with one of jazz's great drummers, Jack DeJohnette, and UAlbany faculty Don Byron, Robert Gluck, and Joseph Bowman Jr. The event features live and recorded musical examples and an audience question and answer period.

When:
Friday, March 24, 2006, 2-3:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

Recital Hall, Performing Art Center (PAC), UAlbany Uptown Campus, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, N.Y.
