After a thunderous countdown, students celebrate the annual turning-on of the University's main fountain (Photo by Fred Doyle).
More than 6,000 students, faculty and staff turned out to the University at Albany's annual celebration of school spirit and unity, Fountain Day. Community members enjoyed food, contests and entertainment before students made their way to the fountain for the countdown and turning-on of its 30-foot streams, officially ushering in springtime at UAlbany.
