Buying a Home in Midtown Albany?

Individuals and families purchasing a home within the Midtown Homeownership Zone Phase I boundaries are still eligible to apply for a $5,000 forgivable loan toward down payment and closing costs if they are faculty members or staff of the University at Albany.

There are no income restrictions.

• Properties must be owner-occupied.
• One to four unit properties are eligible.
• Purchaser does not need to be a first-time homebuyer, but cannot own any other residential properties at time of closing.
