What was the most exciting moment in the history of UAlbany sports? Share your memories with us, and we’ll enter your name into a drawing for UAlbany merchandise. Favorite Springtime Memories In the last issue, we asked you to send us your favorite memory of springtime at UAlbany. Thanks to all the alumni who wrote back to share their fond remembrances with us. Below are two of our favorite responses we wanted to share with you. I remember as the weather got warmer we would take our books and sit out by the lecture centers to read. I would take off my shoes and sit with my feet in the fountain as I studied in the warm sun. I can still visualize the buds coming out on the (then much smaller) trees and hear the carillon chiming. It seemed like all life was emerging from hibernation. Thanks for the chance to reflect back. Lisa Blanc Lonschein '77 I graduated in 1962 so my memories are focused around the dormitory quad – Brubacher, Sayles, Pierce and Waterbury Halls; and the "old" downtown campus – Draper, Hawley Library, Richardson , etc.
