Media Advisory: Outstanding Business, Academic and Community Leaders Receive UAlbany Foundation's Highest Honor

Neil and Jane Golub, Price Chopper president and CEO and director of vendor income programs, respectively; George M. Philip, retired executive director and CIO of the New York State Teacher's Retirement System and UAlbany Officer in Charge; Paul A. Leonard, dean and professor of finance, School of Business, University at Albany; and Leonard A. Slade, Jr., director of doctoral and master's programs in humanistic and liberal studies, University at Albany, will be awarded 2007 University at Albany Foundation Citizen Laureate Awards.

Background:
Funds raised through this event, sponsored by the Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc., will be used to support a range of educational, research and public service initiatives set forth by the University at Albany and managed by The University at Albany Foundation.
