Transfer Transition Leaders

Your Transfer Transition Leaders are current transfer students who want to help incoming transfers as they adjust to UAlbany life. They will be planning and implementing programs for new transfer and commuter students across campus throughout the semester.

What is a TTL?

Transfer Transition Leaders (TTL) are students that focus on making your life a little bit easier. Every TTL was a transfer to UAlbany at one point and has chosen this role in order to try and make your transfer experience as smooth and straightforward as possible. We come from different backgrounds and prior institutions and represent a mix of majors across campus. We are here to answer any questions you might have about getting involved on campus, how to get situated or handle any issue you might have. We can also point you in the right direction for just about any service or club you are looking for and tell you about our personal experiences as Transfers to UAlbany.

Some TTLs work with specific Living Learning Communities while others focus on the transfer population at large. There are several events throughout the year that are organized with transfers in mind. These will be posted on our Facebook group and at http://www.albany.edu/transfer_students/transfer_events.php

We all know from experience that transferring can be complex and stressful and if you need any help or have any questions it is never a bad time to reach out to a TTL

It's not where you start, it's where you finish.
