Enjoy works in our Collections online - The University at Albany Fine Art Collections are comprised of over 3,000 objects and reflect 50 years of modern and contemporary art, including paintings, photographs, prints, drawings and sculpture by many of the most prominent artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Browse the Collections online.

Visit the Collections Study Space (CSS) - The CSS is open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am - 2pm or by appointment for classes, students, scholars, and members of the community to view and research artworks in our holdings. If you would like access to specific objects or items, please contact Darcie Abbatiello, Registrar/Collections Manager at [email protected] 2-3 weeks in advance to allow time to assess and retrieve objects. Student groups and associations - We would love to host your group for a tour. Please contact Berly Brown, Education and Public Engagement Coordinator at [email protected].

Work with us - The University Art Museum offers a limited number of internships (approximately 2-3) per semester, as well as work study positions. Look for internship opening announcements on our social media, or look for work study positions on the work study portal. For inquiries regarding student staff positions, please contact Christine Snyder, Office and Operations Manager at [email protected].

For Faculty

Bring your class or group to the University Art Museum - Let us know what day and time works best for your visit and we will try our best to accommodate your group. For classes larger than 25 students, we may need to split into separate groups. Contact Berly Brown, Education and Public Engagement Coordinator at [email protected]. At least 2 weeks notice is appreciated.
