Evaluation & Research

An evaluability study is a form of assessment that gauges the readiness of new and emerging programs to undergo a full outcome evaluation in the near future. To assess the evaluability of YPI, the CHSR will examine how the program has been developed and implemented during its initial years of operation, observing the fidelity of training delivery, assessing the organization’s data collection capacity, and comparing initial performance evidence with the outcomes that might be measured during a full, summative program evaluation. The results will assist the YPI program in preparing for future evaluation and seeking establishment as an “evidence-based” practice. The study is currently taking place, and the CHSR hopes to publish final results in late 2014.
