Job and Internship Fair

The Fair is your opportunity to meet hundreds of UAlbany students from a variety of majors. Students will be looking for information about full time jobs after graduation, as well as internships.

Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 12:00pm - 5:00pm in the SEFCU Arena

Registration Information

The registration fee includes one 6' x 2 ½’ display table, parking, and lunch for two representatives. If more than two people will be representing your company, an additional fee will be charged. Employers also have the opportunity to sponsor the Fair or place an ad in the event program.

Corporate rate $275
Government rate $190
Non-profit rate $140
Additional representatives = $35 each

Online Registration

Registration for the Fair is done in two steps:

  1. Create a username and password for our on-line system, Handshake. (If you already have a login, skip to step 2.) Select "Need an Account" on the Employer Login page. Select employer enter in your first and last name, unique company email address, and create your password. If your organization is not listed, you will be prompted to complete an employee registration form. After submitting your registration profile, go to step 2 to register for the event.

  2. Register for the Job and Internship Fair.  Once you have logged into Handshake, choose Fairs under the Campus column then type University at Albany in the search bar.   Choose the Fall 2017 Job and Internship Fair link to register. You will receive a confirmation email, including an invoice or receipt, after your registration is approved.

The title you use for your organization when you register will be the title we use in our program as well.

Sponsorships and Ads

Sponsorships are available at 3 levels

GOLD Sponsorship - $1000.00
Your company will receive a full-page ad (7.5w x 10h inches) in the Career fair program and the ad will be posted on the Career Fair App (Fall 2017 Job and Internship Fair). Your company's logo will be placed on Career & Professional Development Website, on all event posters, and on the event program cover; and prime location at the event along with an additional 6’ x 2 ½’ display table.

SILVER Sponsorship - $500.00
Your company will receive a one half-page ad (7.5w x 4.75h inches) in Fair Program and the ad will be posted on the Career Fair App (Fall 2017 Job and Internship Fair). Your Company's logo will be placed on Career & Professional Development website.

BRONZE Sponsorship - $250.00
Your company will receive a quarter-page ad (3.5w x 4.75h inches) in Fair Program and the ad will be posted on the Career Fair App (Fall 2017 Job and Internship Fair). Your Company's logo will be placed on Career & Professional Development website.

BASIC Ad - $100
Your company may place a one eighth-page ad (3.5w x 2.25h inches) in Fair Program and the ad will be posted on the Career Fair App (Fall 2017 Job and Internship Fair).

If your registration has already been approved and you wish to change it to include an ad, please email Stephanie Carson at scarson@albany.edu and we will enable you to make changes to it.

Parking and Directions

Parking for employers will be in the SEFCU Arena parking lot. Parking fees are included in your registration fee. Directions, maps and other logistic information is available here.

Shipping Materials

Instructions for shipping materials prior to any of the career events:

Please send materials no earlier than a week before the event to Jermaine A. Harris, Associate Director, Career Services, Science Library G50, University at Albany, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12222.  Materials must be received by noon of the day prior to the event in order for them to be at your table when you arrive.
