    Course Description:

    This course is the continuation of math 554. In this semester we will applied the tools and concepts of last semester to the theory of hypothesis testing. We will cover chapters 5 to 11 of the book. That is, we will learn hypothesis testing, maximum likelihood methods, sufficiency, optimal tests, bayesian statistics. The program is ambitious so we will have to work hard to cover all the subjects. We will have four exams each worth 25\% of your grade. In order to pass the course, you need to obtain an average of 50\% or more.
