CLASS OF 1970 50-YEAR REUNION

50 Years!! Our 50th high school reunion is soon approaching! How can this be? What a major milestone!!

1970!! How many journeys have we taken? How many accomplishments… highs… lows…sacrifices…experiences have we faced?

50 years ago, we were together as a united class...full of visions, hopes, optimism, spirit, rebellion...and more. We were together before we had our careers or life’s paths...before becoming parents...grandparents...before we "grew up!" (well...at least most of us!). No one can replace the unique friendships we formed while at Milne. Cherished, indeed.

So...it is time to unite once again. We are in the planning stages of this momentous event.

THIS WILL BE HELD OVER THE WEEKEND OF OCTOBER 10, 2020!!

REGARDS FROM A MEMBER OF THE CLASS OF 1966

"This is Nan (Knox) Klemm, Class of '66. I will always feel close to my alma mater even if it was only high school. So many of the students I recall with heartfelt fondness. After college I married and had two kids. My husband, an Officer in the Navy, went from enlisted (five years) to Officer thru a special provision at the time and Officer School. We moved all over the map. Our two sons went into the military life as well. After 50 years of married life, he retired from the Navy a Two-Star Admiral, then from a nuclear plant, then from a submarine plant. I have worked in the school systems, had my own photography studio, worked for the Heart Association and for a Historic Preservation Society, also for a Multi-Cultural Society, amongst other associations. We are currently living in Virginia and hoping to move back to Tennessee. Happy Holidays to All! 12/2019"

Thanks to all of you for your interest in Milne Alumni activities.
