In this course, the instructor will occasionally lecture, but it will be the students that will be presenting various topics on a regular basis. What are the main objectives for this class: the first objective is for the presenters to become comfortable researching and presenting some more challenging material, the second objective is for the audience to become exposed to a wider array of Mathematics not normally encoutered in the usual undergraduate and beginner graduate courses.

The level of the material to be presented should be appropriate for beginning graduate students and challenging for a typical senior pursuing a degree in mathematics. Moreover the material should be presented in a manner that will be understood by the audience. The lecturer should research the references for the topics he/she presents, be well prepared ahead of time, and should try to engage the audience.

Attendance for this course is a must. The audience is expected to participate actively with questions about the material presented and provide feedback about the presentation. We will have short questionnaires at the end of each lecture.
