The University at Albany is committed to providing access to our electronic and information technology, including our web pages, for individuals with disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
UAlbany is working to ensure that members of our community with disabilities, as well as members of the public with disabilities who are seeking information or services from us, have access to and use of information and data that is comparable to the access and use of community members and members of the public who are not individuals with disabilities.
To meet this commitment, we are in the process of re-designing our web pages to meet the standards of the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's), Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, and the Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 for web content.
Reporting Accessibility Website Issues
To report an issue to Web Services, a unit within the Office of Communications and Marketing, please fill out this web accessibility reporting form.
If you have a disability and any material on our web pages interferes with your ability to access the information, please contact UAlbany’s Disability Resource Center (DRC) — DRC@albany.edu — and indicate:
- The nature of your accessibility or alternative format needs
