CURCE Conference

The Annual University at Albany CURCE Conference is the only event featuring students from all departments, school, and majors at the University.  The conference is a forum for undergraduates from across the university to share their research, scholarship, and creative work with the UAlbany community.

All undergraduates are encouraged to participate. Students who present their work at department events are encouraged to showcase their presentations at the conference. The work that students feature may be from a class project or assignment, a senior thesis or capstone project, an independent study, an internship project, or a creative project in studio art, music, or theatre.

Proposals from all disciplines will be considered for inclusion and may be for projects that will be finished by the date of the conference as well as proposals for works in progress. Work in progress presentations are those for which work is in the middle stages of data collection and preliminary analysis. Work in progress artistic projects may include early drafts or sketches, or discussions of creative issues encountered in the project. The goal of these presentations is to encourage feedback from conference attendees that may contribute to the project’s development.

Students can present their work in poster form, as an oral research presentation, or multimedia creative presentation.

Conference proposal applications for the 16th Annual Conference will be accepted beginning in February 2019.  Check back for more information.
