Capital Milestones Child Care

Capital Milestones Child Care (CMCC) is incorporated as an independent not-for-profit, worksite child care center providing priority child care service to New York State employees and University at Albany (SUNY) faculty, staff, and students. This worksite Center is part of a larger network serving State employees across New York. The Center was formed in 2016 through a merger of Carol A. Dunigan Day Care, Campus Children’s Center, and U-Kids Child Care Center. These programs each had a rich history of service with over 30 years in the field of early care and education. If space allows, community children will be accepted into the program as well.

Capital Milestones Child Care strives to develop the whole child by providing educational, enriching experiences in a safe, supportive, and secure environment. Children are encouraged to express their own thoughts and feelings through a variety of activities and learning experiences. In partnership with parents and guardians, we promote diversity and celebrate each child’s uniqueness.

Please call the center to schedule a tour of the new facilities.   Standard hours of operation are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday, year round.

Children must be at least 6-weeks-old to enter the Center. Our early childhood program cares for children until they leave for Kindergarten. Our program for school-age children operates during the summer and three, week-long school breaks.
