See the information below regarding Dining refunds from the Spring 2020 semester due to COVID-19.

Meal Plan Base Cost Refund

Students who completed the virtual check-out form and were not physically residing on campus after March 23, 2020, will receive a 46.42% refund of meal plan base cost on their student account. Students who completed the virtual check-out form but remained in housing between March 23, 2020 and April 5, 2020, will receive a prorated meal plan base cost refund based on their official check-out date.

Students who completed the virtual check-out form after April 5, as well as those remaining in the residence halls for the duration of the Spring 2020 term, will not receive a meal plan base cost refund.

Discount Dollar Balances  (UPDATE AS OF 8/3/20)

Rollover Discount Dollars: Due to the unique pandemic circumstances and multi-modal academic schedule this fall, the Spring 2020 COVID-emergency Discount Dollar Rollover policy has been amended. For students living on campus in traditional Quad housing, any Spring 2020 Discount Dollars will be rolled over to whichever meal plan they are enrolled in as per the requirements of the Housing License.

For students living in campus apartments or any other off campus housing, Spring 2020 Discount Dollars will be rolled over and available for use, even without the purchase of a new meal plan (as previously required), as long as a student remains enrolled in classes.  If a student is unable to use those funds during the Fall 2020 semester for any reason, those Discount Dollars will again roll over to Spring 2021, as long as a student has maintained continuous enrollment.  All  remaining Discount Dollars of any sort will be forfeited at the end of the Spring 2021 semester, or the end of continuous enrollment, whichever is sooner.

Munch Money Balances

If you remain a student in Fall 2020, your unused Spring 2020 Munch Money will be automatically rolled over to the fall term. Those graduating at the end of spring semester will be provided with an adjustment on their student account for the value of their unused Munch Money. These adjustments will be made separately and at a later date from the prorated base cost adjustments.
