Maguire Family Endowment at the NYSWI
Generously established by Gregory Maguire ’76, this endowment provides financial support for the New York State Writers Institute to host authors throughout the year at various events occurring on campus and in the local community. Funds from this endowment may also be used to host high-profile authors when needed.

New York State Writers Institute Classic Film Series Endowment
Established by Marc G. Guggenheim ’92, this fund provides programming support for the New York State Writers Institute Classic Film Series, which provides free cinematic events for film commentary for the UAlbany campus and public.

William Kennedy Writers Institute Endowment
Established in honor of William Kennedy’s 90th birthday, this fund provides support for the initiatives and program occurring at the New York State Writers Institute. This includes, but is not limited to, support for the visiting writers series, film series, visiting authors and/or poets and community workshops.
