Marnie Andrews

Instructor in Acting and Voice- Marnie ‘s career spans over forty years as actor, singer, director, and writer. She has received numerous awards for her work, including a Berrilla Kerr’s Playwrights Award.

She guest starred roles in many TV series and movies, including ER, Murder One, and Wonder Years, played God in Love is Hell, and a role in David Cross’ film Hits, shown at Sundance, 2014. Stage appearances many classic roles, as well as premieres of new work. She starred in the premiere of The Realization of Emily Linder, to rave reviews, at New Jersey Repertory in Spring, 2015 and directed The Mousetrap in Illinois last winter.

She directed as well as taught voice and acting for NYU, USC Graduate Film School in Los Angeles, and UAlbany. She directed Fifth of July and Family: Can’t Live With Them, Can’t Live Without Them for UAlbany, and will be directing again at the PAC in Fall, 2015. Much of her stage work focused on developing new plays in New York and Los Angeles. She directed an adaptation of Trojan Women chosen for the Getty Museum in LA. She also served on the board of the National Theatre Foundation, awarding grants for new plays.
