Department of Alumni Affairs

Paige Wright is a sophomore in the Honors College at the University at Albany. She is currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in ISBA-Management, as well as minoring in Creative Writing. She plans on getting her MBA in Human Resources Information Systems after she graduates a year early from undergrad. Paige is originally from Rochester NY, loves a good vegan garbage plate and her dog—an overweight toy poodle mix named Jake.

During her first year at UAlbany, Paige became involved in a number of organizations on Campus. She is the Vice-President of WIPP (Women In Positions of Power) and an active member in AEU (Albany Entrepreneurs United). Paige also competes on the UAlbany Equestrian Team and is the current Treasurer and Co-Captain.

This will be Paige’s first year as an active member in the Student Association—and she could not be more excited. During her first year, Paige took part in the First-Year Essential Career Readiness Skills Program. It was through this program Paige first learned of the importance of Student-Alumni relations. Paige was matched with an alumni mentor and after working together all semester, she was asked to come Intern for the company as a Social Media Recruitment Specialist. While Paige may have found her alumni connection, she knows many students have not. It is her goal this semester to create more authentic connections—much like the ones she has had with alumni. By working with the Alumni Association, Student Association, and the student body Paige hopes to help the right students connect with the right alumni.
