Chiaoyu Yang, PhD Candidate, studies mental health and drug addiction recovery among legal system-involved individuals, including previously incarcerated individuals, immigrants, and crime victims. Her studies focus on the impact of systemic oppression on these populations. Her current work includes her dissertation on incarceration experiences and post-release drug addiction recovery among women.
