Christina Hatten is a student assistant at the Center for Public Health Continuing Education. At the center, Christina provides support for the Hospital/Community Patient Review Instrument and SCREEN training programs. Christina has a B.S. in Biological Sciences from SUNY Buffalo, and is currently a first year Master of Public Health student with a concentration in epidemiology. Alongside her MPH degree, Christina is working toward completion of the Health Disparities Graduate Certificate program. She hopes to apply her education in epidemiology in a way that benefits marginalized groups in the US, particularly from racial and ethnic minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, low income populations, and those who fall within the intersection of the three. Her areas of interest include nutritional epidemiology, chronic disease epidemiology, and social epidemiology.
