Short Courses Offered Through the Institute for Health System Evaluation (IHSE)

University at Albany, State University of New York

Registration is now open for 3, 6-week long weekly webinar classes offered through the Institute for Health System Evaluation (IHSE) at the University at Albany. These classes are in the following areas:

Health Information Technology (HIT) – offered May 16, 2016 - June 24, 2016

Data Analysis – offered June 27, 2016 - Aug 5, 2016

Evaluation Methods – offered Aug 8, 2016 - Sept 16, 2016

These courses will include weekly webinar videos and a 1 hour personal consultation (at a value of $150). The cost of each course including materials, and consultation is $200.

Who Should Attend?

These course are designed to facilitate foundational understandings in the topic areas and are intended for students, and professionals in the field approaching the topics at a beginner’s level or needing refreshers in the topics covered in the individual courses.


A 1-hour webinar presentation is available every Monday of the course during the 6-week course period. The webinars are also archived for future use and review.


To register for one or more classes, download, fill out and print the course registration form. Fill out the registration form clearly indicating the course(s) you plan to take. A registration fee of $200 per course covers all course components, readings, and consultation. Please make checks payable to the University at Albany with a notation of the course(s) on the check. Mail your completed registration for and a check for the course registration fee(s) to:
