Personal Statement

I work as a part-time staff physician in primary care at the Stratton VA Medical Center; however my main interest is in preventive medicine and public health.  I volunteer at the Capital City Rescue Mission in Albany as the co-coordinator of the Healthy Hearts Program and other public health outreach and education activities.   More recently, I have become involved in medical missions and the health care needs of the “Majority World” and will travel to Honduras in 2012.
