University and School Preparedness Resources and Planning


Full day training program targeting school and university leaders and emergency response planners. This program is designed to provide participants with an overview of the various risks threatening learning communities and how to plan and respond during an actual emergency.


  1. Enhance awareness of vulnerability to public health, natural, and man-made disasters in the school community
  2. Enhance awareness of resources for the school community in preparedness and response to emergencies in general
  3. Describe the university and school preparedness policies in the United States
