In-person Trainings

Welcome to the In-Person Training page. The trainings listed below represent the ten most popular in- person trainings developed by the UAlbany Center for Public Health Preparedness and NY•NJ PERLC.  These trainings have been mapped retrospectively to the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals, developed under the auspices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They contain valuable information delivered in original presentations by leaders in the field of Public Health Preparedness. These training materials were originally developed to be used as tools for delivering in-person training, but can also be used for individual computer based study.

The list below represents a small selection of the trainings we currently offer to health professionals, agencies, and organizations in an effort to increase education among the public health workforce and are available to be downloaded for use in your agency or organization.
