Nandee, a recent MPH graduate of the University at Albany School of Public Health, is the Project Support Specialist for the Center for Public Health Preparedness (CPHP).  She has over 2 years of experience  working with newly arrived Karen refugees from Burma and with Nepali-speaking refugees from Bhutan.  Before joining CPHP, she was the Health Action Team Intern of the Capital Region Refugee Roundtable, focusing on community-based approaches to increase access to health care. Nandee's background includes hands-on experiences as a volunteer for the Homeless Action Committee Outreach Van Program. She also served as a hotline counselor with the University at Albany Middle Earth Peer Assistance Program, and is currently a volunteer case manager at the Refugee Community Health Partnership Program, Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, Inc.
