Tahamont Takes Poster Award at APPAM Conference


Sarah Tahamont, Ph.D., a post-doctoral fellow at the School of Criminal Justice, won a poster session award at the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management’s fall conference for her poster paper entitled: The Effect of Facility Security Level On Prison Misconduct: A Regression Discontinuity Design.

Tahamont will graduate in December with her Ph.D. from University of California at Berkeley.  She has been working since October 1, 2013 with Professor Shawn Bushway on the Crime and Confinement Reduction Initiative, a new research collaboration with New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.
