20 Years After 9/11: A Rockefeller Roundtable
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy is hosting a virtual roundtable discussion on Friday, September 10th 12:30-1:30pm. Faculty experts will examine the impact that the attacks had on civil liberties, terrorism, security, and Islamophobia as well as the current U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A with the audience. All are welcome to participate.
New York Municipal Clerks Institute Fall Athenian Dialogue
Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany, SUNY is hosting an Athenian Dialogue for the New York Municipal Clerks Institute (NYMCI) on Saturday, October 16th, 9:00am-3:30pm ET. The book is "It Worked For Me: In Life and Leadership" by Colin Powell, and the facilitator is Susan Haag, RMC MMC.
Rockefeller’s Rising Stars 2021
Announced by City & State, five alumni of the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy were named to the 2021 Albany 40 Under 40 Rising Stars list. Rockefeller’s Katie Birchenough, Michael Blaustein, Thomas Briggs, Kyle Ketcham, and Iris White earned recognition.
