About Pamela Skripak

Pam Skripak has spent her career in the field of education, human and organizational capacity building, and program design and development both in the U.S. and abroad. As the founder and principal of Heartworks Social Emotional Consulting services, she has worked with businesses, nonprofits, schools, and universities to design experiential educational programs with a focus on community and culture, leadership, teamwork, and individual and organizational development. Before coming to INLCD, Pam designed and directed NEXT Consulting (Nonprofit Excellence and Transformation) a campus-based consulting firm for nonprofits at Siena College; designed and directed a workforce development program and global internship for Migrate Business Services in Amman, Jordan; and designed and directed an innovative four-year social and emotional development program at Emma Willard School. As a member of the senior administrative team at Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood, Pam developed and facilitated programming for youth, parents, and professionals at community agencies throughout Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia and Greene counties and oversaw an ambitious New York State funded teen pregnancy prevention marketing campaign.

Pam brings a special interest in dialogic and community-building practices to her work and is a trained facilitator of Council circle practice through the Ojai Foundation in Ojai, CA.

Pam received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Women’s Studies from Hamilton College and a Master of Public Health in Population and Family Health from Columbia University. Pam served for two years in Peace Corps Ecuador.
