About Professor Lee

Hongseok Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration and Policy. His research agenda includes representative bureaucracy, workforce diversity, ethical behavior, and organizational theory and behavior. With the application of organizational theory and behavior, he conducts research on 1) the effects of the demographic composition of the public workforce on organizational performance and employee outcomes, and 2) antecedents and consequences of ethical issues such as whistleblowing and workplace harassment.

Professor Lee holds a Ph.D. in public affairs from Indiana University Bloomington, where he also earned a master’s degree in public affairs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (South Korea).
