Rockefeller College Celebrates Class of 2017

Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy honored the Class of 2017 at its annual graduate and undergraduate recognition ceremonies on May 19 and 20, 2017.
The graduate ceremony took place Friday at the historic Washington Park Lakehouse where the College honored August 2016-May 2017 graduates. Rockefeller paid tribute to the 13 doctoral and 75 master’s recipients, as well as 16 certificate recipients from the departments of political science and public administration. Maria Vittoria Gronchi, MPA ’17 represented the class as the student speaker.
On Saturday, Thomas Roach ’83, Mayor of White Plains, N.Y., delivered the keynote address during Rockefeller's Undergraduate Recognition Ceremony in Page Hall at the University at Albany’s Downtown Campus. Representing the 175 bachelor’s degree recipients, Bradley Hershenson (Political Science), Christopher Boyle (Public Administration and
Policy), and Gertrude Morgan Dadzie (Public Administration) served as student speakers.
