About Us

Rockefeller College has an enduring commitment to helping students and alumni transfer the knowledge and skills gained through academic study into rewarding careers. The college is a nationally ranked leader in public affairs education and our graduates have achieved success in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. The Office of Career Development staff work with students throughout their experience at Rockefeller College and beyond to help them strategize how best to put their skills and interests to work.

The Office of Career Development staff offer comprehensive career counseling services, including help students and alumni identify rewarding public affairs career and leadership opportunities. We provide résumé writing and job search advice from the initial search through negotiation and acceptance of a position. Within six months of receiving their degrees nearly all of our graduates are working in a position in their chose field. In addition, many of our students are accepted into prestigious postgraduate fellowship programs such as the Presidential Management Fellowship; many of these opportunities lead to permanent employment.
