Certificate in Nonprofit Management & Leadership

The Certificate in Nonprofit Management & Leadership is designed to provide students with the knowledge and tools to successfully navigate increasingly complex and demanding changes in the nonprofit world. Whether you are a nonprofit manager, a clinician with supervisory or management responsibilities, or an individual making a career shift to the nonprofit sector, the Certificate is the vehicle to move you to the next level.

Under the guidance of knowledgeable faculty in nationally ranked programs at the University at Albany, students will have the opportunity to engage in co-curricular study and activities as part of the Certificate in Nonprofit Management & Leadership. The five-course program of study explores management principles and current topics in the following areas of specialization:

  • Managing Organizations
  • Information Management
  • Financial Management
  • Public Policy

How to Apply

Applications to the Certificate program are accepted for fall, spring, and summer admission. There are no formal course prerequisites for the Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
