I am a 3rd year PhD student in the Genetics and Genomics Program at the University of Florida and being co-mentored by Dr. Eric Wang and Dr. Andy Berglund. My project involves developing novel regulation for AAV gene therapy as a potential treatment for patients with Myotonic Dystrophy. I am interested in elucidating the underlying mechanism of alternative splicing regulation by RNA Binding Proteins.
