Campus and Community Social Norms Campaign

This is an ongoing campaign aimed at correcting campus and local community misperceptions about student health and encouraging attitude and behavior change among students and the community and to assist in enhancing the quality of life for our students and local community residents. The campaign messages are based on survey data collected from a representative sample of UAlbany students each spring semester. The campaign messages, as well as the research methodology that they are based upon, are conveyed to students through class presentations, posters, feature newspaper articles, newspaper ads, Facebook ads, websites, and other venues.
