Standardizing University Policies

The University at Albany is engaged in a comprehensive initiative to standardize University-wide, institutional policy development and administration. Going forward, this policy library will serve as the central repository for all institutional policies and procedures.

The Office of Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance is responsible for overseeing the approval process for institutional policies and for maintaining the policy library. Please direct all questions regarding policy content to the Responsible University Official listed in the respective policy.

If you would like to propose a new institutional policy or suggest revisions to an existing institutional policy, please submit a University Policy Proposal Form

University at Albany Library of Institutional Policies

All policies are subject to change by the University and changes will become effective as determined by the appropriate University authority. To the extent that any policies should conflict with state or federal laws, such laws, where applicable, shall prevail.

Please note that the policy library only includes policies reviewed and approved through the standardized process for institutional policy development. As the standardization and review of preexisting institutional policies is an ongoing process, such policies will remain active and be integrated into this policy library once appropriately vetted.
