Both of these student written plays feature characters grappling with the concept of life after death (in both the literal and figurative sense) as well as the struggle of coming to truly know one’s self and the hard-earned wisdom that lies on the other side of that struggle. more info

Brooklyn-based playwright Amina Henry follows the cross-country drive of 40-something flight attendant Red and her two kids in this funny and irreverent new play that asks what it means to be a family and what it is to be a woman. This Authors Theatre staged reading is preceded by a conversation with the playwright, Maggie Macinelli-Cahill of Capital Repertory Theatre and cast member & UAlbany alumna Danielle Skraastad,  

Authors Theatre is presented by the UAlbany Theatre Program and the Jarka and Grayce Burian Endowment in association with the NYS Writers Institute.
