The Music Program of the University at Albany’s Department of Music and Theatre is pleased to present a shared program between the University Symphony Orchestra and the University Concert Band on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 3pm at the UAlbany Performing Arts Center on the uptown campus.

The Concert Band, under the direction of Kevin Champagne, will perform Henry Fillmore’s The Klaxon, John Barnes Chance’s Variations on a Korean Folk Song, David R. Holsinger’s The Gathering of The Ranks at Hebron and Broadway Journey: 25 Years of Golden Classics arranged by James Christensen.

The Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Christopher David Neubert, will perform works with a dance theme:  Suite of Old American Dances by Robert Russell Bennett and Four Dance Episodes from Aaron Copland’s Rodeo.

Advance tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for students, seniors and UAlbany faculty-staff.  Tickets purchased on the day of the show are $10 for the general public and $5 for students, seniors and UAlbany faculty-staff.  For reservations and further information, contact the Box Office at (518) 442-3997.
