Welcome to Nonprofit University! "Nonprofit U" is a professional development subscription series for all levels in your organization. Taught by university faculty and subject matter experts from across the region, Nonprofit U’s interactive and engaging workshops cover all aspects of nonprofit operations and management.

Information About Subscriptions to Nonprofit University!

Gear up for our summer/fall workshop series with a subscription to Nonprofit University! Here is how it works: Nonprofit organizations may purchase discounted full or partial subscriptions on a sliding scale. Subscriptions are fully transferable to any member from your organization. Subscription rates are listed below.

Workshops are generally held at Rockefeller College, Milne Hall 200, 135 Western Avenue, Albany, NY (just west of Washington Park) from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Registration opens at 8:45 AM. Wheelchair parking and accessibility into Milne Hall is available on the Washington Avenue side of the campus.

Subscription Information For Nonprofit Organizations






Workshop subscription are available to nonprofit organizations on a sliding fee scale per the chart below. A full subscription entitles a nonprofit organization to attendance at 10 workshops. A 1/2 subscription entitles an nonprofit organization to attendance at 5 workshops. A nonprofit organization may purchase more than one subscription and/or purchase an additional subscription at any time. Subscriptions are valid for one year from date of purchase. Workshops are offered year round!

Community members are welcome to attend any of our workshops. Workshops are $25 each. Discounts are available upon request.



Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Policy for Nonprofit University Subscribers: Full refunds of workshop registrations are available for cancellations received up to 48 hours in advance by emailing nonprofit@albany.edu. Workshop registrations cancelled less than 48 hours in advance of a workshop will be deducted from a subscriber’s remaining workshop balance.

Cancellation Policy for Single Workshop Registrants: Full refunds of workshop registration fees are available for cancellations received up to 48 hours in advance by emailing nonprofit@albany.edu. Workshop registrations cancelled less than 48 hours in advance of a workshop are nonrefundable.
