Parking for Vendors & Contractors
Vendor and contractor vehicles must display valid parking permits to park on any UAlbany campus. Note: Marked delivery trucks are exempt from this requirement.
You must gain prior approval to register a vehicle by submitting a Vendor & Contractor Parking Permit Application.
Once you’re approved to register a vendor vehicle, you’ll be required to pay a fee and provide proof you are associated with a company performing University services.
You can pay the fee online. If you'd prefer to complete the transaction in person, please make an appointment. Our office is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment.
Loading docks and load/unload zones are available with prior approval for up to 30 minutes with the proper permit displayed. Vehicles must then be moved to a parking area where valid contractor or vendor permits are allowed.
Vendor & Contractor Parking Fees
Vendors and contractors who are frequent visitors to campus can choose one of the following options:
- September, October, November, December to August 31: $105.60
- January, February, March to August 31: $94.80
- April to August 31: $78.60
- May to August 31: $62.40
- June, July to August 31: $51.60
- One month: $46.20
Vendors and contractors who do not frequently visit campus can select one of our Visitor Parking options, which include one-hour metered parking spaces, day-long visitor parking lots and temporary day passes for student parking lots.
