ALBANY, N.Y. (September 18, 2018) – ITS is ramping up its technology services for the downtown campus at UAlbany.

Client Support Services has streamlined services by merging Desktop Support and Classroom Technology Support staff into a single team, all of whom support endpoints (projectors, touch panels, desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets and printers) in classrooms, conference rooms and offices.

This change in service delivery means faculty and staff on the downtown campus can visit a single convenient location, regardless of what type of assistance they need. It will also help ITS respond more efficiently and effectively to customer needs.

The combined team is located in Husted 002 (HS-002), where staff are available for walk-in service Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As always, the Help Desk can also be contacted via email at, through an online form, or by calling (518) 442-3700.
