"Campus Diversity Climate Survey Results: Perspectives From Student, Faculty and Staff in 2021"

The third administration of the Campus Diversity Climate Survey was deployed to students, faculty and staff in Fall of 2021. The survey attempts to capture the experiences and perceptions of students, faculty and staff on a wide range of issues related to diversity and inclusion at UAlbany. This survey report provides comparative results on students and faculty, race/ethnicity groups and gender groups. The survey data inform our practices and initiates communications and discussions on improving our campus climate.

The Campus Diversity Climate Survey was administered again to the students in Fall 2019 and to faculty and staff in Spring 2019. The survey attempts to capture the experiences and perceptions of students, faculty and staff on a wide range of issues related to diversity and inclusion at UAlbany. This survey report provides comparative results on students and faculty, race/ethnicity groups and gender groups. The survey data inform our practices and initiates communications and discussions on improving our campus climate.

Research Report No. 45: "Campus Diversity Climate Survey Results: Perspectives From Student and Faculty/Staff"
(April, 2019)

The results of the Campus Diversity Climate Survey administered to the students (Fall 2017) and the faculty/staff (Spring 2019) are shared here in an online interactive dashboard. The survey attempts to capture the experiences and perceptions of students, faculty and staff on a wide range of issues related to diversity and inclusion at UAlbany. Twelve Areas are addressed in the survey: pluralistic orientation, institutional commitment to diversity, satisfaction with campus diversity, positive cross-racial interactions, value on social action, past cross-group interactions, social action engagement, discrimination experience type, macroaggression, harassment experience, sense of belonging and diversity activities participation. This survey report provides a baseline data that inform our practices and initiates communications and discussions on improving our campus climate.
