Tour of New York State Capitol Restoration

The New York State Capitol is undergoing major restoration. Architect Jim Jamieson will lead this tour, which will highlight some of the recently completed work.

The tour will include the Great Western Staircase, highlighting the skylight and lay light. The most recent project, the $1 million encaustic tile floor in the Senate Library, will be included, as will the Assembly, Senate and Chamber areas.

The tour group will meet at the 1st floor Tour Gathering Area in the southeast corner of the building, at the base of the Senate stairs.
