Office of Health Promotion

What is health promotion?

The Office of Health Promotion helps UAlbany students live healthier lives by offering a variety of programs and initiatives that address mental and physical health, alcohol and other drug use, sexual health, and sexual violence.

We provide services for the entire campus community and for students who may be at risk of compromising their well-being — with the overarching goal to enhance health at UAlbany.

Our team uses a comprehensive public health approach to support students’ academic and personal wellbeing, often collaborating with Student Health Services, Counseling & Psychological Services, Campus Recreation, Middle Earth Peer Assistance and other partners.
