GSA Assembly

The GSA Assembly is the legislative branch of the graduate student government. It is comprised of representatives from various Recognized Student Organizations (RGSOs) as well as departmental representatives. Assembly meetings are held the first Friday of the month during the academic year. The location of each meeting as well as important documents can be found below on this page.

Heather Sussman

Heather Sussman received her B.S. in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University in 2017 with minors in Mathematics and Spanish. She is currently a third-year PhD student in the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences at the University at Albany. Her research interests include climate variability, land use change with emphasis on urbanization, remote sensing, and statistical methods. She currently holds a Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) fellowship sponsored by the Geospatial Research Laboratory in Alexandria, VA. Beyond research, Heather enjoys swimming, playing the clarinet, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
