Heather Lessard

Heather Lessard joined the Graduate School in July 2022. She is responsible for graduate student academic records maintenance, registration and program enrollment adjustments. She also manages the graduate degree conferral process, as well as the dissertation and thesis review and publication processes.

Heather previously worked at Excelsior College, in academic advising and transfer credit evaluation, and at SUNY Schenectady County Community College as the Student Success Manager, where she was also the functional lead for the Starfish early alert system.

Heather earned her both bachelors in psychology and her masters in information science, with a focus in library and information services, from the University at Albany.
