Why did you choose to attend UAlbany?
I chose UAlbany because I firmly believed the doctoral program at the School of Criminal Justice was the best fit for my expected career and interests. I strongly felt it, and the faculty here, would help mold me into the kind of researcher I strive to be.
What do you love best about UAlbany?
So far, I have found the statistical training to be the most fulfilling thing about UAlbany so far.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduating UAlbany, I plan to apply for tenure-track professor positions.

I would like my scholarship donor to know that I don't take awards like these for granted. As students, we sometimes forget that the funding we receive from our university or department relies on the people who directly provide that support.
