The 1844 Society

1844 Society Logo

By contributing $1,000 or more to the University at Albany, you join the University’s most distinguished annual recognition club, the 1844 Society. Named the UAlbany’s founding year, the 1844 Society and its members provide annual support to the students, faculty, staff, academic programs and research initiatives that make UAlbany the leading University it is today. Your participation in the 1844 Society strengthens the University’s ability to grow and remain competitive – enhancing the University and the value of a UAlbany degree.
